Education is the most important thing that we provide for our children. It is in good education that a student will depend on to get a great life that is why it is important to make sure that the right qualification for education is met. But in order to have a good education, there must be a good quality literacy instruction. A group of students, parents, and advocacy organizations (CADRE and Fathers & Families of San Joaquin) filed a class action lawsuit against California, alleging that the state is not fulfilling its constitutional duty to provide a basic education for every student.
When the group of students, parents, and advocacy organization felt that the right to the basic education is not being given, they filed an action lawsuit. The group is stating that without good quality literacy instruction, there cannot be a good quality education which the students deserve.
