A child with dyslexia is using her disability to positively help others with the learning disability. She is 9 and is a published author of the book called Dyslexia Rules! At first when diagnosed she struggled so much that it put her in a bad mood, this was earlier on in elementary school.

Dyslexia is hard, but it makes you special. We dyslexics have to try harder than other kids, but that helps us to not give up and prepares us for the real world.

After she started to understand the disorder and harness the positives she decided to share her positive with others struggling. As she puts it, dyslexia does make life challenging but it also helps you develop a really good work ethic. As an elementary school student she now has specific accommodations for her in the classroom that makes school time much easier and less stressful.
