A group of young students from Team Storm have created an app that aims to help dyslexic students learn math. Called the ROY G. BIV Math System, the app uses the color system to help students effectively solve math problems.

Going along with the the system's name, the app uses color codes in place of numbers in a calculator, allowing each number to be a separate color and easier for students with learning disabilities to discern. The team's goal is to use this app to ease stress for the 20% of the population with learning disabilities. Though the app is still in the beginning stages, the students have already been nationally recognized for their achievement.

It's possible to drastically increase math ability by identifying one missing "micro-skill," and we'd love to help you discover it.
Our simple online analysis tool can help you find what areas need strengthened.

"If we can get children to have a more positive experience with math, give them the right tools to succeed, they're gonna change their outlook about all of the STEM subjects." - Lori Langley, Team Storm's Coach.
