A person diagnosed with dyslexia experiences a difficulty with reading. Apparent at an early age, a child born with the disability may not use any form speech until age 2 or 3. This child may also have difficulty following or remembering simple directions or maintaining any sort of organization. While some people may experience a mild form of dyslexia, some may experience a more severe form in which they may be unable to comprehend the alphabet. With difficulty comes success, as those with dyslexia tend to excel in mathematical, spatial, and musical skills.
